Jon Ward

Jon Ward is a trial and appellate lawyer who handles many types of cases. Jon has experience with a wide variety of matters, including those in almost every practice area covered by PCKB. Jon’s clients range from individuals to small businesses to large companies.

Jon enjoys going to court, whether for hearings, trials, or appellate oral arguments.  He prides himself on taking on difficult cases, including as co-counsel in cases for trial or on appeal. Jon has appeared in courtrooms all over North Carolina, in both urban and rural counties. In addition, he is licensed to practice in Virginia and West Virginia. 

Jon has held an “AV” Martindale-Hubbell rating since 2014, and has been named a “Rising Star” by North Carolina Super Lawyer® every year since 2013. He is involved with a variety of law-related organizations and often volunteers his time to these groups. Jon has teamed up with other lawyers from all over North Carolina and many different states, both to serve clients and to benefit the legal profession.
